After months of preparation, Eiviss Garden Events had the unique opportunity to collaborate with the renowned Ibizan jewellery designer Elisa Pomar at the 53rd edition of the Adlib Ibiza fashion show. Held on the iconic Paseo de Vara de Rey, this event stood out not only for its artisanal character and textile design, but also for the creativity and beauty of the jewellery and floral arrangements presented.

The atmosphere was infused with rich Ibizan tradition, and every detail was carefully planned to offer an unforgettable visual and emotional experience. Elisa Pomar's jewellery, combined with our floral designs, created a perfect synergy that captured the essence of the island. The show was not only a fashion showcase, but a true celebration of the art and culture of Ibiza, with models representing iconic figures and surprising the audience with their elegance and originality.

An unrivalled opportunity

From the moment this collaboration was presented to us, we knew we couldn’t let it pass us by. Working with Elisa Pomar and her team has been a dream come true. The connection between both teams was immediate and effortless, and it was a real pleasure to collaborate with a designer known for her simplicity and humility. From the outset, we believed this collaboration would be explosive, thanks to the vibrancy that flowers bring and the ability of her jewellery to leave everyone speechless. Every detail was crafted with care and heart, and the results were simply spectacular, exceeding all our expectations.

The vision of Elisa Pomar

Pomar wanted to capture the essence of "The garden of Mary Magdalene's flowers" in a way that resonated deeply with the audience. Her goal was to create a rich and evocative visual narrative that showcased her stunning jewellery and told a story. To achieve this, each model in the show wore dazzling jewellery pieces and portrayed iconic characters such as Jesus, Mary Magdalene and the Virgin. This representation was key to creating an emotional connection with those attending. The music selected for the show also played a crucial role in this experience. Nacho Cano's moving "El amargo del pomelo" and Coldplay's energetic "Viva la Vida" added an extra layer of depth and feeling, enveloping the audience in a magical setting. The result was a cohesive and powerful narrative that left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Protagonists: The jewel and the flower

To make sure that the jewellery and the flowers were the true stars, we decided to dress the models in understated dresses. This allowed each piece of jewellery and every floral arrangement to shine in its own right. Each look was carefully designed to highlight the beauty and delicacy of Elisa Pomar's creations.

The show’s highlight was a short performance at the end. Jesus, with his thorns and roses, and Mary Magdalene, with her skirt and headdress of genuine bougainvillea, left the audience speechless. The appearance of the Virgin with her incredible paniculata cape was a perfect finale to a show that the audience applauded for minutes.
