The year has flown by, and we’re back with 4 Christmas decor trends for 2021.

Leaving behind last year’s difficulties, and after the restrictions, today we should be very glad to look ahead to what we hope will be a normal December, gathered around the tree and not on Zoom. If we talk about colours for this Christmas 2021, there will be no shortage of cheerful sparkle, both in the most traditional combinations and in the alternatives we’re offering this season, such as pink, blue and caramel, which will bring a truly innovative and festive touch to your home.

Our decorators have prepared different spaces to make your home a welcoming place with a wonderful Christmas spirit. Take note, let’s begin:

Traditional colours

There is nothing more timeless than a fir tree with its golden star on top, red ribbon and classic ornaments. And of course, fairy lights! Our traditional colour palette includes -yes, you guessed it- reds, greens and golds, the purest expression of nostalgia and that Nordic Christmas folklore. Bearded little men and gingerbread houses are already a classic, but this year you will see a resurgence of pastels and playful colours, a fresh take on an old favourite.

Combine blues with golds

This exquisite palette of greenish blues is one of the most elegant and refreshing options this season. Turquoise tones bring incredible brightness and freshness to every room or table you decorate. We suggest dark blue candlesticks and violets combined with figurines or gold or silver cutlery. These shades work perfectly with dark walls or in rooms with little light.

Neutral colours

Neutral colour palettes are on trend. Given that home decor trends include soft grey, beige, cream, white and grey tones, it makes sense that neutral shades are making their way into Christmas décor. Popular styles are soft and glamorous tones or a natural rustic style, which we show you below, in our tree with abundant green foliage and a modest yet exquisite decoration.

Bronze and Gold Colours

Bronze and gold are a festive favourite that adds classic glamour to any interior. Give it a fresh update to suit a more modern aesthetic by mixing decorations in monochrome tones. Black and white provides a crisp contrast: pair them with bold graphic patterns such as stripes or spots, with plain ornaments in white, black or charcoal grey, then fill the gaps with plenty of gold decorations in a variety of shapes and sizes to reflect every light and make the tree shine all on its own.
