Our story
Eiviss Garden was founded in 1974 by Pepe Cleries, in an Ibiza very different from the one we know today. What began as a family project linked to the land and cultivation grew in step with the island, accompanying its transformation without ever losing the Mediterranean essence that defines us.
From the outset, our purpose was clear: to work with plants adapted to Ibiza’s climate, respect natural cycles and offer close, professional advice. That first nursery laid the foundations for what is now a benchmark in gardening, landscaping and the design of outdoor spaces and events.
Over the following decades, we expanded our facilities and added new areas such as the Garden Center and our flower shops in Ibiza and San Antonio, while also consolidating our own production nursery. Each step has been a natural evolution, guided by technical knowledge, a passion for greenery and a commitment to quality.
In 2019, following the retirement of Pepe and Vicente Cleries, Marco Cleries took over the management of the company. Under his leadership, Eiviss Garden underwent a profound transformation, giving way to a more experiential, innovative and contemporary space, inspired by garden centres in Northern Europe but reinterpreted with its own identity.
Today, with more than 50 years of experience, Eiviss Garden remains a family business that combines tradition and innovation. We design gardens in Ibiza that respect the environment, grow plants adapted to our conditions and transform spaces into unique natural experiences.

Marco Cleries has been linked to Eiviss Garden for 28 years, a project that has been part of his life from the very beginning. The son of the founder, Pepe Cleries, he grew up among plants, gardening tools and a love for the trade. In 2019, following his father’s retirement, Marco took over the company, leading a deep transformation of the Garden.
That change gave rise to a new visual and functional language, inspired by garden centres in Northern Europe, but reinterpreted with a distinctive and very personal aesthetic.
This approach has not only been brought to some of the central gardens, but has also established Eiviss Garden as one of the benchmark spaces in the Balearic Islands, even recognised by specialist media such as Garden Magazine.
Passionate about architecture, interior design and innovation, Marco continues to travel each year in search of new trends, materials and ways to surprise. His aim is clear: to create a living, sustainable and inspiring space, where every visit sparks the famous customer “wow”.

Marco Cleries has been linked to Eiviss Garden for 28 years, a project that has been part of his life from the very beginning. The son of the founder, Pepe Cleries, he grew up among plants, gardening tools and a love for the craft. In 2019, following his father’s retirement, Marco took over the company’s management, leading an ambitious refurbishment that completely transformed the Garden, giving it a new visual and functional language inspired by garden centres in Northern Europe, but with a distinctive and very personal aesthetic.
This new approach has not only been replicated in some of the group’s other gardens, but has also made Eiviss Garden the best garden in the Balearic Islands and possibly one of the best in Spain, according to Garden Magazine.
Passionate about architecture, interior design and innovation, Marco continues to travel every year to discover new trends, materials and ways to surprise. His goal is clear: to keep cultivating a space that is alive, sustainable and exciting, where every visit sparks the customer’s famous “wow”.

Biodiversity, sustainability and environment
Our way of working is deeply linked to respect for the environment. At Eiviss Garden, we understand the garden as a living ecosystem, where each element plays a role.
We select species adapted to the Mediterranean climate, many of them grown in our own nursery, which reduces the environmental impact and ensures better adaptation to the surroundings.
We are committed to plants that are hardy and low in water consumption, capable of attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies, which are essential for natural balance. We design spaces that respect the rhythms of nature, encourage biodiversity and create sustainable gardens, both in homes and in landscaping projects in Ibiza and Formentera.
We believe in gardens that are not only seen, but live, breathe and evolve with their surroundings.
