Spring is a symphony of colours, and the secret to ensuring your garden is one of the first to join the orchestra is to start in November. The bulbs we plant now are the pioneers of next season's growth, and at Eiviss Garden, we're delighted to offer you a guide to planting spring bulbs in autumn, with the best varieties so that, when the season awakens, your garden is ready to bloom.
Featured spring bulb varieties
In our stores you can already find a carefully curated selection of spring bulbs, including:
Muscaris
Also known as "grape hyacinths", they are a spring delight with their tiny clusters of blue flowers. They are ideal for borders, pots and rock gardens, and they naturalise easily, offering a more luxuriant display each year, while requiring very little maintenance. Plant them in groups to create a "blue wave" effect in your home and enjoy the contrast they bring with other bulbs in warmer colours.

Tulips
They are the very essence of spring and one of the season’s most eagerly awaited gems. With a palette of colours that spans almost the entire spectrum and a variety of forms ranging from the classic to the most exotic, tulips are true chameleons of the garden. For successful flowering, they require well-drained soil and full sun.
Hyacinths
Hyacinths are prized for their intoxicating fragrance and dense clusters of flowers. They are perfect for creating scented focal points in the garden or to enjoy indoors. For visual impact, plant them in borders or in pots where their perfume can be appreciated. Hyacinths bloom in early spring and can be forced indoors for an early display of colour and scent.

Daffodils
Symbols of renewal and hope, daffodils are hardy and reliable, appearing year after year with their distinctive trumpet shape and bright yellow colour, although white and orange varieties also exist. They are excellent for naturalising in lawns, under trees or in borders. They are among the first heralds of spring and, once established, offer abundant blooms with little care.
