Can Bougainvillea is a comprehensive garden design and build project for an original early 20th-century home. The landscape intervention is based on absolute respect for the existing architecture and the traditional character of the Ibizan farmhouse.

The garden is conceived as a natural extension of the house: organic, Mediterranean and timeless. The planting complements the white volumes, softens the stone walls and creates fluid transitions between indoors and outdoors.

Bougainvillea, the star of the project, embraces porches and pergolas, bringing shade, colour and an identity deeply connected to the Ibizan landscape. Beneath its bloom, the spaces are transformed into settings for gathering and relaxation.

Different use areas have been designed to structure the garden without compromising its natural feel:
– A solarium integrated into the planted surroundings
– Vegetable gardens for the owners’ self-sufficiency
– An outdoor kitchen designed as a family meeting point

Each corner responds to a different way of inhabiting the space. The garden does not impose itself; it is discovered. It changes with the light, with the seasons and with the life that moves through it.
