Can Estrellas is a landscaping project conceived with absolute respect for Ibiza’s natural environment. The intervention begins with a precise reading of the site, incorporating strategic earthworks to adapt the topography and create different areas for use and contemplation.

The garden unfolds as a wild Mediterranean landscape, where the species dialogue with the existing native vegetation and with the traditional architecture of the house. Moving grasses, aromatic plants, structural shrubs and established trees create a natural composition, seemingly spontaneous yet carefully designed.

The masonry works revive the language of Ibizan stone walls, reinforcing the local identity and structuring the outdoor space. Corten steel defines paths and planting beds, bringing a contemporary line that contrasts with the rusticity of the stone.

The project incorporates areas for gathering, such as a pétanque court and an outdoor kitchen, integrated organically into the whole. The irrigation system has been designed to optimise resources and ensure the garden’s sustainability in a Mediterranean climate.

Can Estrellas does not impose a garden on the landscape. It interprets it, organises it and amplifies it.
